My True Obsession-first graders

My first graders say the funniest and cutest things sometimes. Here is what they say....

We were listening to music one morning in class before school started...Proud Mary was playing. A little boy excitedly said that he loved this song! He listened for awhile and then asked..."Are they saying, rolling up a window or rolling down the river?"

My closets

Let me just start off by saying that I love to shop! However, I believe that when I am shopping I am aware of the clothes that I already have and make sure that I wear the clothes in my closet, each piece. I think of my clothing as having feelings....

this is already sounding a little on the cukoo side.

I organize my closets by color. I have my clothes sorted by color and that is how they hang in the closet. I also move them through a cycle, so that means on Monday, I wear white, then Tuesday I will wear the next color which in my closet is shades of red. Next is shades of blue/green, and then black/brown. I don't have a problem choosing what to wear the next day, because it is the next color and the next piece of clothing in that section. If I don't like the way the shirt looks, then it goes to Goodwill.  Pants and skirts don't count in this process because I only have black and brown pants/skirts.
In a non-crazy way I look forward to seeing what I will be wearing throughout the week. I like the clothes in my closet. They make me happy to wear them.

This definitly sounds like an obsession.....lol
