My True Obsession-first graders

My first graders say the funniest and cutest things sometimes. Here is what they say....

We were listening to music one morning in class before school started...Proud Mary was playing. A little boy excitedly said that he loved this song! He listened for awhile and then asked..."Are they saying, rolling up a window or rolling down the river?"

Owls

I have fallen in love with owls this year. I can't really explain my facination with them, but I am obsessed with owls that look like they are from the 70's. I call it retro, however I am not quite sure if that is the correct term. I love the way the look. I like the colors that are used when creating the owls.
