My True Obsession-first graders

My first graders say the funniest and cutest things sometimes. Here is what they say....

We were listening to music one morning in class before school started...Proud Mary was playing. A little boy excitedly said that he loved this song! He listened for awhile and then asked..."Are they saying, rolling up a window or rolling down the river?"

Presents, Presents, Presents

Christmas 2010 is finished, but it was a good holiday. I was more excited about giving the presents that I had made more than getting presents. I made everyone's presents except for three people in my family, which means that I made seven out of ten presents this year. My goal is to make everyone's next year. I of course took pictures of everyone with their home-made presents.

 Brady is showing off her flower headband and her scarf.
 I made her fingerless gloves to go with it.
 Princess Aalyiah is wearing the tutu I made her.
 Cougar loved his dog blanket.
 Kelsea loved her blanket too.

It is time to get started on next years gifts...
